Privileged to work at #DEAKYNSTRONG event
In my line of work, I am privileged to get to observe and document many personal and grand events. Whether it be someone’s nuptials, a Michelin rated restaurant event, a baby shower or a Disney movie production wrap up event. However, to be asked to document a fundraiser for a 4-year old hero battling brain cancer, is something I jumped on and wanted to to do the best possible job. With a son of my own, I cannot and do not want to imagine what CJ, Deakyn’s mom is going through, but if my ability to document this event helps in any way, I am grateful to be able to assist.
I am delighted to share that this event, directly raised over $6,000 from the silent auction and an additional $4,000 in knock on effect contributions at their GoFundMe page (#DEAKYNSTRONG).
You can learn more about Deakyn in an earlier blog post. If you can, please donate, all proceeds at the GoFundMe page go directly to Deakyn and his fight.
